EPS Expanded Polystyrene rigid foam is a material obtained from the polymerization of styrene monomer and petroleum, a thermoplastic foam of white color having closed pores.

Characteristics of Expanded Polystyrene:

It is the most economical and perfect heat insulating material the most environment friendly which is fixed and dry air.
The reason of extra insulating characteristic of EPS is the dry and still air trapped in the closed pores found in its constitution

.It is an environment friendly material.
It is 100% recyclable and do not produce pollutant waste after production.
It traps the gas pentane which is organic and not harmful for human health and environment.
It has no chlorophore and derivatives (CFC,HCFC)  which are harmful for the ozone layer.
Having a flexible structure, EPS can also be used as packing material in order to protect plenty of products thanks to its shock damper and mechanical resistance characteristic.

EPS can be produced at requested density according to the area of usage.
It is generally produced with a  density of 15-30kg/m³ for heat insulation and 20-100kg/m³ for packing material.
